“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.” — 1 John 5:14 (NIV)
There’s something powerful about knowing that the Creator of the universe actually hears you. Think about that for a moment — the same God who spoke galaxies into existence pauses to listen when you pray. That alone should build an unshakable confidence in your spirit.
Too often, we come before God timidly, unsure if our prayers will make it past the ceiling. We shrink our requests to match our fears instead of expanding our faith to match God’s power. But 1 John 5:14 reminds us that our prayers don’t fall on deaf ears. When we ask according to His will, Heaven takes notice. God not only listens, He responds in ways that align perfectly with His purpose for our lives.
Confidence in prayer doesn’t mean arrogance; it means trust. Trust that your Father knows what’s best. Trust that even when the answer isn’t immediate, it’s already in motion. Sometimes the waiting season is not a denial but a divine preparation — God aligning the right people, opportunities, and timing for what you’ve prayed for.
So today, approach God boldly. Pray with the assurance that your words matter. Don’t pray small because of fear; pray big because of faith. Your confidence isn’t in your own strength — it’s in His faithfulness.
π Declaration:
“Lord, I approach You with confidence. I know You hear me. Let my heart align with Your will, and let Your purpose be fulfilled in my life.”
Hold onto that confidence. Even when you don’t see it yet, God is working behind the scenes. Your prayer has been heard — and your miracle is on its way. π«
